Recording @thegreyland was definitely a highlight of my year so far, and being stuck in quarantine has made the memory all the more meaningful to me. It is not often that I have the opportunity to participate in such a large ensemble of talented individuals like @numinousmusic, making music that grows in relevance and importance with each passing day. The Grey Land is an opera by @numinousjoe that examines racial injustice and systemic power in America by exploring “themes of humanity and identity through the intractable triumvirate of race, class, and power in American society.” To learn more, visit the 🔗 in bio and consider supporting this project directly!

📣 @allisonburikmusic and I will be donating all June revenue from the sales of the Umbrella Pine album to @blackvisionscollective, “a Black-led, Queer and Trans centering organization whose mission is to organize powerful, connected Black communities and dismantle systems of violence.” Plus, we will match 50% of the funds we raise❕At the end of the month, we will reevaluate to ensure that our sales continue to go to orgs that make direct, impactful change.
